Craftchella 2026: Inside the 3-Day Virtual Crafting Experience Turning Sports SZN Into Sales SZN

Craftchella 2026 brought crafters together for three nights of designing, creating, learning and turning ordinary craft ideas into products made to sell.

Created and presented by The Glam Design Studio, Craftchella is a virtual crafting experience designed to help crafters think beyond simply making cute products.

The goal is bigger:

Create it. Brand it. Sell it.

The 2026 Craftchella Sports SZN experience was held August 10–12, 2026 at 7 PM Central and focused on one of the biggest opportunities of the year for craft businesses: football season, cheer season, back-to-school and personalized sports products.

But Craftchella wasn’t just about watching another crafting tutorial.

We designed.

We assembled.

We talked products, presentation and possibilities.

And most importantly, we showed crafters how one idea can become something customers actually want to buy.

What Is Craftchella?

Craftchella is a virtual crafting experience created by The Glam Design Studio for crafters, creative entrepreneurs and aspiring craft business owners who want to learn how to create products with selling potential.

Think crafting challenge meets creative conference, with a little Glam Design Studio energy sprinkled all over it.

Instead of spending hours scrolling through social media wondering what to make next, Craftchella gives participants ideas, inspiration and practical instruction they can take back to their own businesses.

Our 2026 theme was:

Sports SZN → Sales SZN

Because football, cheer and back-to-school season isn’t just fun for sports fans.

For a crafter, it can be an entire product season.

Personalized sports gifts, spirit gear, school accessories and team-inspired products create opportunities for crafters to serve athletes, cheerleaders, students, sports moms, teams and schools.

Craftchella was created to help our crafting community see those opportunities differently.

What We Created During Craftchella 2026

Over three days, participants watched creative concepts move from an idea into actual finished products.

Day 1: Designing for Sports SZN

Day one started where great craft products begin: the design.

We explored how to take a Sports SZN concept and transform it into something personalized, exciting and customer-ready.

One of our featured projects was a customized sports design that demonstrated how a crafter can take a theme and turn it into a product that feels personal to the customer.

The bigger lesson wasn’t simply how to make one design.

It was learning to ask:

Who would buy this?

How can I personalize it?

What other products could I create using this same concept?

That’s the difference between crafting randomly and creating intentionally.

Day 2: From Design to Finished Product

On day two, we took the creativity beyond the screen.

We explored how a digital design can become a finished physical product and how product selection can open additional revenue opportunities for a craft business.

This is especially important for busy crafters.

You don’t necessarily have to manufacture every component of every product yourself to build a creative business.

The magic can be in the design, customization, branding and customer experience.

When you begin thinking this way, your product catalog can become much bigger than what you can physically create from scratch.

Day 3: Bringing the Craftchella Vision Together

Day three brought everything together.

By this point, Craftchella wasn’t simply about individual projects anymore.

It was about seeing how different products, designs and ideas could work together as a complete Sports SZN collection.

That’s one of the biggest lessons I want crafters to take from Craftchella:

Stop thinking one product at a time. Start thinking in collections.

One football design doesn’t have to stay one football design.

That creative direction could inspire coordinating spirit items, school accessories, personalized gifts, team products and additional digital or physical products.

One idea can become an entire collection.

And one collection can become a campaign.

Why Sports SZN Is Such a Big Opportunity for Crafters

Every year, families spend money celebrating their athletes, students and teams.

They want personalized products.

They want their child’s name.

Their number.

Their team colors.

Their school.

Their photos.

Their memories.

And they want products that don’t look like everything else sitting on a store shelf.

That’s where independent crafters have an advantage.

A crafter can create something personal.

Instead of competing only on price, creative businesses can compete on customization, originality and experience.

That is exactly the type of opportunity we explored during Craftchella.

Craftchella Is About More Than Crafting

One of the biggest reasons I created Craftchella was because I see talented crafters get stuck in the same cycle.

They know how to make things.

They own the equipment.

They’ve purchased the templates.

Their Canva account is FULL.

But when it’s time to turn those skills into consistent products and sales, everything suddenly feels complicated.

What should I sell?

How should I design it?

What products should go together?

How do I make mine look different?

How do I turn all these ideas into an actual business?

Craftchella was designed to help bridge that gap.

Because being creative is powerful.

But learning how to use that creativity strategically is where things start changing.

Who Is Craftchella For?

Craftchella was created for:

  • Beginner crafters learning how to design and create products
  • Established crafters looking for fresh product ideas
  • Canva users who want to turn designs into sellable products
  • Party favor creators
  • Custom gift businesses
  • Sublimation and personalization businesses
  • Creative entrepreneurs
  • Moms building businesses from home
  • Crafters preparing for football, cheer and school seasons
  • Anyone ready to start treating their creativity like a business

You don’t have to know everything before you start.

You need an idea, the willingness to learn and somewhere to begin.

From Crafter to CEO

At The Glam Design Studio, I don’t want to teach women to just make another cute craft.

I want crafters to understand what can happen after they learn how to make it.

Can it become a product?

Can it become a bundle?

Can you personalize it?

Can you create coordinating products?

Can you market it to a specific customer?

Can you sell the digital template?

Can you turn the process into content?

Can one design create multiple income opportunities?

Those are CEO questions.

And that’s the mindset behind Craftchella.

Where Crafters Become CEOs.
